Lazed about this morning... a lot. After I went to get Johnny out of bed and changed him and he ate, he was still tired and cranky an hour later, so I put him back to bed. We all stayed asleep until 1PM. Well... mostly. Joe said he got up to check on Johnny, but he was sound asleep, so we left him alone. He didn't fuss any when we put him to bed tonight, either. Which is good.
I had cake for breakfast. Joe remarked on this, to which I responded, "Would it make it any better if I had something else first?" Ladies, remember that.
Went to dinner tonight with Joe's family. Every time his mom's friend Big comes to town, she takes the family out to dinner, since she stays with them (she jokes that the exchange makes her feel better for that). The place? Carrabba's. Not really a fan of chains, but I AM a fan of their marsala sauce, and their espresso, AND their sangria, especially when someone else is treating. The one on Tyrone is amazing. The filet marsala (RARE, YUM) was decadent, so delicious, and their espresso was so bitter and strong flavorful and had a wonderful kick to it that stayed with you. And the sangria was pulpy and sour-sweet and just so fruity. They were two for one. I downed four glasses. Quickly.
That was a nice buzz.
Went home after that and watched the 400th Simpsons episode, because that's how I get down. And now that I am sated in every way (don't ask about the rest, not like you would), I will attempt to get back into writing.
I have new story ideas.
