So, I was watching television the other night, and I saw a commercial for a new movie called Things We Lost in the Fire, where apparently, this guy falls for his best friend's widow. I'm sitting there thinking, "Great, there goes my Veld/Tifa." Except for, you know... the former man-lover bit.

Only I was thinking about adapting mine for an original story and calling it "Kelly's Wife" (nice ambiguous name, no?)

... Still going to write the fanfiction. Just to spite it. Hmph.
