LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL.
What if, at four in the AM, we went into our children's rooms and crawled into bed with them, laid on top of them and started screaming and kicking and head-butting?

I should try it.

Shut up, I'm kidding.

Oh children.

Wait 'till he's old enough to appreciate Christmas. I think that I woke my parents up at something ridiculous like 4 or 5 am. Then I got a very stern growl from my father and was forced to wait wide-eyed in bed until 7. :p

Um, let me finish on a more encouraging note saying, I hope your wee one isn't as annoying a child as I clearly used to be. ;)

(And, my mother would almost certainly argue, still am.)

... You did that this year? Haha, kidding again.

Well, this Christmas he tore off all my red shiny ornaments, and every time I put one back he took it down again. Eventually I stripped the pre-lit tree of everything but its white lights and the angel on top. =D

I broke my mom's nose in my sleep when I was four ... Does that count?

When I was little, I'd get in bed with mom and pry her eyes open and ask her to make me some toast. She was a heavy sleeper and would pretty much ignore me :-)
