Ha! Yes, that one was in the bunch. But I could have sworn you made a post with a few of them altogether.

So, the voices Vincent-only icon? Is that one a bit personal, or do you mind it being up?

I have story lists to make! I feel like a dork, and I don't care!

That one was the only one in the bunch that I managed to make as a 'vineld' icon. I'm still now very good at the whole 'overlay' manip thing. I had one of Vin as a Turk (which is on my gj) and one of him in Lu's cave (also on GJ). Plus, some fun Cloud, Tifa, and Aeris ones (but that's a little irrelevant :p).

As for the 'Voices' icon ... let me think of it. ;) It seems silly to be attached to an icon but that one really is MY Vin. So ... I shall think on it. ;)

Oh, do make a list! That means that I can have a few geeky hours to edit things. Uni really is eating my soul at the moment. I could use an excuse to indulge in some fandom. ;)

It ended up taking forever, getting Johnny to sleep. He took his nap late in the day. By the time I was done, I was too tired to do anything.

It's beautiful...you might consider making the links within the text a little darker though, because they blend in with the background a little too well :-)

Okay, the link text is just slightly darker now. Dark enough to show better, but not so dark that it doesn't stand out from the black text.

Just a quick question:

How did you make your icons? And what program did you use?

I need to spread the Vincent x Tifa love. Apparently people are posting icons with other pairings and I don't see enough of the VinTi pairing.

The icons that I've made were done in Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. That's actually a fairly old program. I'm one of those people who, rather than learn how to use completely new software, will make do with what I have—even if it means going the long route.

There are a lot of things I don't know how to do with paint, which I've seen in your VinTifa icons—like overlaying and combining pictures. When I want to do a manipulation, I end up doing a lot of copying and pasting, using my smudge brush a ton, and messing with shades to hide the seams.

I believe Jasc PSP8 is available for download freely. But I also believe there was an update to PSP8.1, which is better for some things.
